UCSD by DesignKurt Forster is the Vincent Scully Visiting Professor of Architectural History at the Yale School of Architecture. He formally taught at Stanford University, MIT, ETH Zurich, and the Bauhaus University at Weimar, and directed research at the Getty Research Institute and at the Canadian Centre for Architecture in Montreal. He curated the architectural exhibition for the 2004 Venice Biennale.

Public Lecture and Moderated Discussion Series is a series of lectures and discussions reflecting on the history and future of “campus” as built environment, landscape, and site for public art. Presented as part of UCSD by Design: Art, Architecture, and Urbanism in the Campus Context in celebration of the 50th anniversary of the founding of the University of California, San Diego
