Trained in both neuroscience and architecture, Dr. Eve Edelstein’s work is focused on design, research and innovation that apply empirical evidence as part of the architectural process to enhance human conditions. Edelstein, a senior vice president of research and design at HMC Architects, is currently studying the impacts of hospital design on patients and caregivers alike, collaborating with the California Institute for Telecommunications and Information Technology (Calit2) at the University of California’s San Diego campus, where she is a Visiting Scholar. more...
